~Healing Breath Work~
Trauma Release and Re- Patterning
Healing Breath Work is designed to awaken the inner healer in you so you can access your own remembrance. The intention of the breath technique used is to open and feel into the places in your body where stagnant thoughts and emotions are trapped causing imbalance in mind/body/spirit. Oxygen will cleanse your body and quiet the mind allowing the body to arrive back into your natural vibrational state.
It is an active meditation. It is a journey into self with the gift that only breath can bring- life. In a circle- in community- we find witness, we find reflection, we find support and we find that space where our breath meets the breath of the life force we are all a part of.. Healing breath ceremonies are designed to move emotion and energy. The body may experience many sensations as the mind, body, spirit and soul learn to dance in harmony again.
It is recommended that you come with an open mind a willingness and readiness to meet yourself in new ways and let go of all things that do not serve your heart’s path. This work is to be shared- not given as something you don’t already possess- and embodied for all to sustain themselves as we walk our path. The breath is the great gift of that… On any healing journey the importance of somatic integration enables one to be empowered by their own resourcefulness- the breath is a powerful ally for that integration. It helps to retrain our innate pathways to release contraction patterns and return to a heart frequency- that has been silenced under the noise of trauma. It’s your breath- your life source that is being explored. No phenomenon- no outside source- ALL YOU. The most powerful question it invites forward is “how much do I trust myself to be my own sustaining source?”.
All ceremonies will have an altar for your prayers and to hold an anchor for healing. There will be music, drumming, rattles, the burning of incense and the use of essential oils- I may sing- YOU may sing. Some sessions incorporate touch as I bring awareness to the places in your body that may be holding tension. Above all- a safe and sacred space is set for your journey.
